Gwinnett County's award-winning Mercedes-Benz dealer, Atlanta Classic Cars, caught the attention of car lovers from all over metro Atlanta, Saturday, October 1. The gala celebration of 125 years of Mercedes-Benz automotive innovation presented many automobiles on display, plus refreshments, food and fun for families large and small.
Car competitions were held in several categories such asConcours d'Elegance, Concours d'Ordinaire, People's Choice and Silver Star Preservation Awards. Crowds were treated to classic models at every turn, including a Ferrari, classic Chevy, vintage Gull Wing and many more iconic Mercedes-
Benz nameplates.Along with the unveilingof an original artwork creation from renowned Mercedes-Benz artist, Mark Boomershine, all proceeds from the 2011 Concours d'Elegance will benefit the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk in the ongoing battle against cancer.
